COVID-19 RESPONSE AND UPDATE FRIDAY 5th FEBRUARY
As a responsible company, we continue to review the impact of the Covid-19 outbreak in order to assess business risks and adjust our procedures accordingly. The safety and well being of our employees, suppliers and customers remains our top priority, and our policy is, and will be, to follow HM Government guidelines.
Both our branches are open, albeit with slightly reduced hours, and the following actions are in place to ensure we meet our commitments.
All employees are fully consulted and trained in our Covid-19 procedures, and have completed a risk assessment together with procedural guidance from Stallard Kane (our H&S consultants). Sales staff will also wear a face covering when serving at the counter.
Wherever possible we are still operating a 'click and collect' type service, so please ring the office if possible before making your journey to the yard. A one-way system is in place at our sales counters along with distancing measures and we invite ALL visitors to wear a face covering. Customers and suppliers are asked to remain outside whilst their collection is compiled.
Our sales counters are screened, and have wipes and sanitiser available for both employees and customers. Potential contact points e.g. counters, door handles are sanitised every 30 minutes as a minimum. Doors and windows are open to promote ventilation. Separate pens are available to customers which are wiped after use.
Deliveries are also being undertaken. Our drivers will continue to sign-off deliveries and will maintain strict social distancing measures at all times.
